Amanya Allan Kabisyaki, is a Risk management professional with over 9 years of experience in audit and enterprise risk management in both the private and public sectors currently working as a Senior Officer Risk with the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU), having previously worked with the Office of the Auditor General Uganda.
He has facilitated several trainings and workshops in audit and risk management on behalf of several organizations that include the International Center for Environment Audit and Sustainable Development (iCED), Jaipur, India, African Organisation of English-Speaking Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI-E), and an International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) Working Group on Audit of Extractive Industries (WGEI) in several countries, including Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa among others.
He is also a member of the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) Technical committee on Risk, Security, and Resilience standards charged with the responsibility of standards development, quality assurance, metrology, and testing of risk-related standards in Uganda.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) degree from Makerere University Business School (MUBS), and a Master of Science in Energy Management from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland. He is also a Chartered Accountant (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a PECB Certified ISO 31000 Risk Manager. He has also undertaken several risk-related courses that include a one-month certificate training program in Investment Appraisal and Risk Analysis by Queen’s University, Canada and currently pursuing an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK.
