Ms. Annette Nabbengo is the Head of Risk Management at Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS). She is a Certified Risk Management Professional (C31000) by the Global Institute of Risk Management -ISO 31000:2018, PECB ISO 31000: 2018 Certified Lead Risk Manager, PECB ISO 22301: 2019 BCMS Certified Lead Implementer. She holds a Masters of Business Administration where she majored in International Business from Makerere University Kampala and has a Degree in Food Processing Technology from Kyambogo University.

Annette possesses various trainings in Risk Management from Risk Intelligent Enterprise (Deloitte), Enterprise Risk Management (IIA-Uganda), Risk Based Audit (IIA-Uganda), Public Sector Governance, risk and Compliance (Global Focus), Effective Risk Management, Balanced Scorecard and Managerial Leadership Skills (Intertek) and ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Standard (Global Institute of Risk Management)

Annette is also ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Certified Lead Auditor, ISO 17025:2005 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories Certified Technical and Lead Auditor, with experience in ISO 19011:2011 – Guidelines for auditing management systems. She is a trained Performance auditor who has carried out Quality Assurance, Risk Management and compliance audits in ISO 17020, 17065, and 17021. Annette has high analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes. She is a goal-driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes, and coaches employees to meet high-performance standards. Annette loves reading, learning, and traveling to experience new things.
